sERVICE OPTIONS

Dog Walks

Friendly Paws offers 30 or 60 minute walks in your neighbourhood for your fur baby. We also offer 1 hour visits to the dog park in which we will pick up and drop off your pooch at your home (see “Dog Park Adventure” below).

Medication

All of our pet sitters are well versed in the administration of medication including insulin injections, pills, powders, and liquids.

Dog Park Adventure

We will pick up your dog and take them to the nearest off leash dog park in your area for them to socialize and burn off excess energy. Includes travel time.

*Please note that we only provide this service with dogs that we’ve already bonded with since they need to be able to return to us by recall at all dog parks in Winnipeg. If you’d like to use this service, we do require a minimum of three walks on leash around your neighborhood before this service can be provided.

Pet Sitting

Dog Sitting: 3 visits a day minimum for every full day (morning, supper and late night let out) Includes feeding(s), walks, let outs, cuddles, and basic home maintenance.

Cat Sitting: 1 visit a day minimum. We do not provide every second or third day cat sitting due to our liability insurance. Consecutive days of booking are required. Includes feeding(s), litter scooping, cuddles, playtime, and basic home maintenance.

Small Critter Care: 1 visit a day minimum. Includes feeding(s), cage cleaning, interaction (if required), and basic home maintenance.

Home Security Checks

If you’re on vacation or away on business we will give your home that “lived-in” look. Includes opening and closing drapes and blinds, turning on/off various lights within the house. We will check and secure the exterior of your home before leaving. For an additional fee, we also provide snow removal. Please make your own arrangements for lawn mowing. We also water indoor plants or outdoor gardens. Additional time may be charged depending on the size of the garden.

Hello, I started Friendly Paws in 2007. It’s hard to believe that this year will be our 13th anniversary. A lot of hard work and dedication to my clients has helped me stay the course. The cute furry faces and the bonds I’ve created with my fur clients has helped too! I went to college for business and came out with a deep motivation to start my own. I have a passion for animals, business and customer service so this has been the perfect fit for me. Please contact me to meet your furry friend, I would be honoured to be a part of their lives.

2008 – Present

Hi, I am a full-time dog walker/sitter with Friendly Paws. I joined Friendly Paws in 2008. I am a big animal lover and I’ve grown up with animals around me all of my life. I have met so many amazing fur clients throughout the years and love each and every one of them! I enjoy our visits very much and the one on one quality time spent. My job is so much fun and I can’t imagine doing anything else. I look forward to meeting even more fur clients in my future!

Hi there, I work full time with Friendly Paws. I joined Monique in April of 2011 to help her with the growing business. I love all animals and I enjoy spending my time with them. I grew up with pets in my household all my life so I know that they are a part of the family and should be treated as such. I have always had a deep and unending interest in animals including their behavior, intelligence, and even biology. I have acquired many useless facts about them but am always interested in learning more! Each furry companion provides a unique personality which is why I will never tire of meeting and caring for new fur clients.

*Note: If we are visiting your home to care for a dog or cat, other small pets like fish, birds, rodents, lizards, etc. are included in the price and time frame.

Longer visits can usually be accommodated upon request.

The first consultation to meet with your walker/sitter is always free. Additional consultations, if desired, are subject to a $20 charge.

Administration of medication is included in the visit price except for insulin injections which are subject to an additional charge of $5.00 per pet per injection.

All statutory holidays with Christmas Eve day and Boxing Day included are subject to a $10.00 surcharge. Christmas day is subject to a $20.00 surcharge.

Snow shoveling service is available for an extended period for an additional charge.

We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard and PayPal account transfers. Please note that credit card payments and PayPal account transfers have a 3.4% surcharge added.
